Chair, Department of Pediatrics Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pediatrics LMU-DCOM
The Chair for the Department of Pediatrics shall be the administrative head of the designated department and will seek to advance the mission of the University in departmental programs of study. The Department Chair is expected to have appreciation of the teaching mission of the department, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cooperatively and congenially within a diverse academic and clinical environment. Leadership skills and vision for enhancing the academic components of a multi-disciplinary department are essential. The Department Chair shall coordinate each program of study in consultation with the appropriate division dean and supervise the implementation of the plans and decisions of LMU-DCOM.
*D.O./M.D. degree and Board Certification in Pediatrics; and *able to be licensed in Tennessee by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee Medical State Board.
