Washington Emergency Care Physicians (WECP) is an independent, democratic emergency medicine group that was newly formed in January 2019. The company has partnered with MultiCare Health Systems (MHS) to staff emergency departments in Spokane (Spokane Emergency Care Physicians, SECP), Tacoma (Tacoma Emergency Care Physicians, TECP), and Olympia (Olympia Emergency Care Physicians, OECP).

OECP, SECP, and TECP now treat over 230,000 patients every year, which represents more than 50% of emergency services within the health system. In support of TECP, OECP, and SECP, WECP provides practice management services such as practice consulting, data analytics/informatics, scheduling, billing, payroll, provider recruiting – all of which are necessary services to be successfully viable in a rapidly changing, more fiscally conscious health care market.
