Welcome to UCLA’s Division of Dermatology, home to nationally-recognized doctors and researchers, as well as the future’s brightest and highly-trained leaders in dermatology. We strive for excellence in all three areas of expertise clinical, research, and education programs. Our clinical program serves to treat a wide range of patients’ needs, from medical conditions to dermatological surgery to cosmetic care. Our clinician educators are recognized as Top Doctors in US News and World Report. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to people affected by skin disorders using the latest advancements in diagnosis, treatment and research. We also offer the latest in cosmetic dermatology services in our state-of-the-art facilities. We currently have offices located in Beverly Hills, Burbank, Encino, Redondo Beach, Santa Clarita, Santa Monica, Thousand Oaks and Westwood. Our research program continuously aims to make advances in the diagnoses and treatment of skin diseases. Our physician scientists and research team have made bold and innovative leaps in their works within our program, with NIH funding totaling over $4 million. Our research areas include melanoma, skin immunity and defense mechanisms, molecular, genetic, vitamin D and bioinformatics on skin diseases, potential vaccination strategies, and other innovative research that will result in translation of bench to bedside in skin disease treatments. Our educational curriculum places great emphasis on molding our students into becoming exceptional physicians and scientists who hold the skills to lead the next generation into the future of dermatological innovation.
