The Dermatology & Laser Center is one of South Texas’ longest running dermatology practices, and focuses on general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, as well as dermatology clinical research. Still family-owned, since Dr. Steven A. Davis first opened his doors in 1983 in the South Texas Medical Center, our mission remains the same to provide advanced, personalized, friendly, and comprehensive dermatological care, with cutting-edge techniques and a patient-first mentality.

We pride ourselves on our comprehensive options for both medical and cosmetic dermatology. We offer Superficial Radiation Treatment for skin cancer, frozen section surgery with same-day pathology, laser and surgical scar treatments, blepharoplasty, IPL, Narrowband UVB treatment and biologics for psoriasis, and more. But we believe our greatest asset is our friendly, smart, experienced, and dedicated staff. Our medical and front office assistants are a first-class team with extensive experience hailing from all corners of the United States, many of whom are bilingual in Spanish and English. We are accredited with most insurances, support our team with the best productivity tools such as the popular dermatology EMR, EMA, and Google Workspace, and offer an employee-friendly environment in which to thrive.
