Our History

Our practice was established in 2005 as a local oriented practice focused on medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. We are very serious about providing the highest level of dermatologic care and service to our patients and provide the physician superbly trained support staff. We only hire great staff and make a point to value and respect their skills and input, and to provide benefits and excellent working conditions. Our wonderful staff works well as a team and has a good time in the workplace while maintaining professional decorum.

We pride ourselves first on providing top tier medical dermatology, which allows for a built-in referral base for cosmetics. Our cosmetics is approximately 30% of revenue. We are lucky to be busy enough to accept only the best PPO insurance plans. Our doctors are in very high demand with over 3000 future appointments scheduled, which amounts to about a five month wait for new appointments.

We are located in Ladera Ranch, in south Orange County, California.  Ladera Ranch is located about six miles inland from Dana Point and Laguna Beach. Our patient base is generally long-term repeat patients. But the surroundings are also growing, with the new Rancho Mission Viejo housing developments expanding east of Ladera Ranch.

Our doctors have been on staff 17 years, 10 years, and 7 years. The average tenure of our support staff is over 7 years. We have a very personable office, and our patients love that they know the receptionists and medical assistants.

The practice is independently owned and managed by the founding doctor. Associate doctors are treated like partners in the medical operations but are not burdened by the responsibilities of managing the practice.

Our Upcoming Expansion

For almost two decades we have purposely stayed small to provide a personal experience for our long-term patients. But our doctors need more exam rooms for some new treatment devices that our office just cannot accommodate. So, we are actively building out an additional space just four feet away directly across the hall.  Our plan is to finish that construction in 2022 and then incorporate it into our practice flow to operate both spaces together as one office. Our estimate for completion of the new office is summer of 2022, and availability of that new space is required to accommodate our new Dermatologist position.
