The Department of Pediatrics in the Stanford University School of Medicine is committed to advancing the health of infants, children, and adolescents through innovative medical care, research, training, and advocacy. With over 400 pediatricians and pediatric subspecialties, our department is one of the largest in the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Offering broad-based training in general pediatrics, critical care and pediatric subspecialties within a variety of ambulatory, inpatient and community settings. Tightly integrated with our educational activities, these programs provide hands-on learning to equip our graduates with the skills they’ll need as future advocates of children’s health.
