Founded in 1912 by a group of physicians, the South Bend Medical Foundation is a pillar in the Northern Indiana healthcare community. Since the beginning, we have remained the local, trusted resource for hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, physicians, and healthcare providers.

As an anatomic pathology reference laboratory and blood bank, South Bend Medical Foundation renders pathology diagnoses and blood products to healthcare organizations/providers, blood donation centers, and hosts community blood drives. We maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and we are accredited by the College of American Pathologist (CAP), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), and the FDA.
