About Skagit Regional Health

Skagit Regional Health, the umbrella name for Skagit Valley Hospital, Cascade Valley Hospital and Skagit Regional Clinics, is a health care leader in Northwest Washington, providing advanced, quality and comprehensive services to the people of our communities.

Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon expanded in 2007 and is licensed for 137 beds. It features a full range of services including comprehensive cancer care; surgical services; a Level III Emergency Department; a well-appointed Family Birth Center; comprehensive diagnostics; and advanced heart and vascular care. The hospital offers a full range of surgical services, advanced diagnostics including CT, MRI and PET, and a spacious Center for Sleep Disorders.

Skagit Valley Hospital is home to the area’s only cardiac catheterization labs and offers advanced heart and vascular care. Skagit Valley Hospital leads the way in comprehensive cancer care and is a network member of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, which brings together the talents and research power of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine and Seattle Children’s.

In 2010, the hospital added Skagit Regional Clinics to the growing list of services. With 13 locations in Skagit, Island and north Snohomish counties and more than 150 physicians and allied health professionals, Skagit Regional Clinics offers primary care, urgent care, 23 specialties and lab and diagnostic services.

As of June 1, 2016, Skagit Regional Health also includes Cascade Valley Hospital featuring a 48-bed acute care facility in Arlington and a free-standing surgery center. Cascade Valley Hospital provides acute, critical care, general surgery, a level IV Emergency Department, and Family Birthing Center, plus a wide array of outpatient and diagnostic imaging services.

Skagit Regional Health is Skagit County’s largest employer and the third largest public district hospital in the State of Washington. As a teaching organization training the next generation of providers, Skagit Regional Health currently hosts 26 residents.
