We are independent, not-for-profit, and exclusively focused on Stamford and Lower Fairfield County. For decades we have responded to the unique needs of our community. Stamford Hospital holds both an “A” Hospital Safety rating from The Leapfrog and a “5 Star” Overall Quality rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). We are the only hospital in Fairfield County to receive a grade of A from The Leapfrog Group and CMS 5-star ratings.

About Stamford Health’s Pulmonology Team

All of our pulmonary doctors are board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Some are also board certified in Sleep Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. We are available 24/7 for both hospital patients and people who come to the emergency department requiring urgent pulmonary care and attention. Eligible patients can often participate in clinical research studies in which our pulmonary doctors are involved.
