One Brooklyn Health System

One Brooklyn Health (OBH) is a newly formed health care system consisting of three hospitals: ambulatory care services, and two long term care facilities.   The three hospitals are Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center, Interfaith Medical Center, and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.  Brookdale Hospital is a Level 2 trauma center with thrombectomy and cardiac catheterization capabilities.

OBH serves more than 1 million people in central and eastern Brooklyn. The OBH mission is to expand access to high quality medical care and to improve community healththrough an integrated system that respects the diversity of our communities and addresses the social determinants of health.

OBH also helps to develop the next generation of health care providers.   The system has 17 residency programs, fellowships programs, and provides training for medical students, nursing students, physician assistant students and trainees for ancillary services.
