Welcome to the LSU Health Shreveport Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Our surgeons, physician extenders, ancillary staff and nurses provide the best possible care to the people of North Louisiana and surrounding states. We are proud to offer cutting-edge treatment in this era of rapidly advancing technology and personalized medicine. We have a multi-disciplinary team of highly trained specialists who are experts in the field of Head and Neck Surgery, Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, Hearing and Balance Disorders, Voice and Swallowing Disorders, Thyroid Disorders, Skull base and Sinus Surgery and Pediatric Otolaryngology.  Our department is recognized nationally and internationally for clinical expertise and research innovations. We have been NIH funded since 2000 and many of our projects have involved multi-institutional novels therapies with the lead investigator coming from our department faculty. The department sponsors a fully accredited Residency program, fellowship programs in Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery and Head & Neck Surgery, as well as education programs for Medical Students.
