Founded in 1989 and led by the group’s President Dr. Ted Patras, Illinois Emergency Medicine Specialists (IEMS) supports four emergency departments in Illinois. For more than 30 years, Illinois Emergency Medicine Specialists has provided quality-driven and compassionate emergency medicine services to emergency departments in Bolingbrook, Glen Oaks, Hinsdale, and La Grange, representing nearly 120,000 annual patient visits. IEMS is a local physician group dedicated to the success of each emergency department they serve.
