Henry Community Health

As a non-profit, independent community hospital and health system we primarily serve Henry County in Indiana. We also draw patients from Delaware, Wayne, Rush, Fayette Counties. We are an owner and member of Suburban Health Organization where we collaborate with thirteen central Indiana hospitals working together to maintain their independence and to promote quality, efficiency such as managed care contracting and patient access in the communities they serve. In addition to our Main Campus where the Hospital and Physician Office Center is located, Forest Ridge Medical Pavilion on the southside of New Castle houses primary care, orthopedics, retail pharmacy, lab, sleep center, rehabilitation services, wellness center, sports medicine and IU Health Ball Memorial Cancer Center. Our Northfield Park Primary Care Campus located on the northside of New Castle includes a second primary care office, pediatrics, retail pharmacy, immediate care, lab draw and classrooms. Employer clinics are located in Spiceland and New Castle. We also have additional primary care campuses located in Middletown and in western Wayne county in Cambridge City.

Henry Community Health is accredited by the Accreditation for Commission for Health Care (ACHC). We are approved by the Department of Health and Human Services for participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Info about Community-

New Castle is a quiet, family-oriented community with easy access to Indianapolis. The county’s popular recreational parks including Summit Lake State Park are open throughout each season of the year. The popular Farmer’s Market is open each summer in downtown New Castle. The revitalized downtown has many events held throughout the summer months as well as a Christmas walk. HealthRidge, Henry Community Health’s Wellness Center, and the local YMCA both offer strength, cardio and fitness equipment. Local activities also include hiking, biking, golfing and more. The trailhead to the popular Wilbur Wright Trail is located near our Northfield Park primary care campus and the community’s vibrant YMCA which also is the site of the annual New Castle Mini-Marathon and Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. Henry County is home to five high schools and an Ivy Tech Campus. It is a short drive to Ball State University, IU East and Earlham College in nearby Muncie and Richmond. The kids stay busy with a wide variety of sports programs, classes and activities.
