Heartland Cardiology was founded in order to embark on new horizons in advanced cardiovascular care with a new hi-tech business model. We were fortunate that we split off of a premier multi-specialty group with excellent physicians professionally and ethically. After gaining our “independence” in 1994, we implemented a state of the art Electronic Medical Record and scheduling system (EMR). We subsequently added new services such as nuclear medicine, expanded our inpatient coverage to other hospital systems in Wichita and established several outreach clinics across Kansas.
We continue to challenge ourselves in seeking the next level. Our independence provides us with a nimble and efficient system to adapt to outside forces and be at the leading edge of change. We work around the clock to bring the latest innovations to patients with the goal of improving patient outcomes. Because of these rapidly advancing technologies and new procedures, more people are benefiting from longer, healthier and happier lives than ever before.
