Physician – Workplace Health

We are looking for a physician to join our in-house provider team.This position offers

  • Permanent, full-time work (part time may be available).
  • Day Shift, Monday to Friday.
  • Work from home (or the office if you prefer).
  • Medical consulting, not patient care.
  • No insurance billing.
  • Collaboration with an amazing team delivering world class service.
  • Influence on the development of solutions and software.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Occupational health services.
    1. Review worker health history, examination and testing results.
    2. Interview workers by phone.
    3. Consult with attending and examining providers.
    4. Evaluate worker health status and job demands.
    5. Render occupational health opinions and review the opinions of others.
  2. Medical direction.
    1. Write protocols and standing orders for service delivery.
    2. Train and mentor customer support staff.
    3. Supervise MA, nurse and PA-C staff working at employer sites.
    4. Perform chart review and quality assurance testing.
  3. Management.
    1. Craft health solutions for corporate customers.
    2. Contribute to development of MyHealthForce software platform.
    3. Collaborate to improve the experience of workers, administrators and providers working with HealthForce.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Graduate of a United States accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
  • Board eligible in emergency medicine, internal medicine, family practice or occupational medicine. 

 

Licenses, Certifications and Registrations

  • Active and unrestricted Washington State medical license.
  • Current and unrestricted DEA certification.
  • Certified DOT medical examiner (a plus).
  • Certified MRO (a plus).
