Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Goodove and Dr. Berry manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Our doctors practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Some additional examples of specialty care we offer include but are not limited to: diagnosing and treating oral pathology, facial trauma, TMJ disorders, and Sleep Apnea.

Our doctors have operating privileges at several local hospitals, including Virginia Beach Ambulatory Surgery Center(VBASC), Bon Secours:DePaulMedical Center, and Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. Treatment is available at these facilities for patients who have special medical or anesthetic needs for extensive procedures.

Patients are closely monitored during and after surgery to ensure the highest level of safety and comfort.
