As one of the region’s largest and most comprehensive health networks, Cone Health has more than 100 locations, including five hospitals, two MedCenters, three urgent care centers, 55 physician practice sites and multiple centers of excellence.

Our tagline “The Network for Exceptional Care” highlights these broad services, which are delivered by more than 8,200 dedicated professionals, more than 1,000 physicians and 700 volunteers.

What is now Cone Health began in 1953 when The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital opened its doors with 231 employees and 53 beds in service. The hospital – founded from a trust that Bertha Cone established after her husband Moses died in 1908 – continued to grow and later merged with other facilities to expand its network of service to the community.

Today, Cone Health includes The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Wesley Long Hospital, the Women’s Hospital, Annie Penn Hospital, Cone Health Behavioral Health Hospital, MedCenter High Point, MedCenter Kernersville and multiple outpatient clinics and offices.

Cone Health offers a wide range of care from a level II and III neonatal intensive care unit to one of the most advanced radiation oncology units in the state to a cardiovascular program with an international reputation.
