The Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation or CHCC is located on Saipan, in the Northern Mariana Islands within the pacific archipelago of islands along the Marianas Trench. The island's population of about 48,000 is very diverse and made up of many different cultures. Chamorro and Carolinian are the indigenous people of The Marianas.

The CHCC functions as an integrated healthcare system that brings together a wide scope of services including primary, outpatient, inpatient, and select specialty care; ancillary services Like laboratory, pharmacy, and physical therapy; additionally public, environmental and, behavioral health services. Through this integration under a single organizational structure, the CHCC provides majority of the healthcare services and houses the only hospital in the CNMI with an 86-bed capacity.
