Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine

Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine

The TouroCOM Middletown Campus opened its doors in July of 2014. It's housed in the former Horton Hospital building, which underwent a $25 million renovation and now includes a state-of-the-art lecture hall and auditorium, classrooms, teaching labs, and medical library, in addition to 150 on-campus student dorm rooms. TouroCOM faculty use an innovative “flipped” classroom approach to deliver the curriculum, and students in the human anatomy lab learn through a combination of classical cadaver dissection, the study of plastinated models, and a custom designed holographic 3-D anatomy system.
